Very poor experience with SMC Renault Service today. Zoe booked in for minor jobs, that were not correctly listed on job sheet (I called yesterday to confirm list). Told car would need to be left overnight which was not possible. I confirmed yesterday that I could collect same day. I have now arranged work with Martins in Basingstoke. A day off work wasted. Steve and some other guy were so rude to my father in law. He is a 70 year old ex military looking to buy a brand new car and they couldnt have been less helpful, rude and dismissive. Huge loss for them. Disgusted by the service and general attitude. Think Dacia should seriously consider replacing or at very least re-training these two employees.
A bad day kept getting worse until I found Kyle in the service department. I could not have asked for better. He found the perfect fix in under five minutes and I was back on the road. Very very impressed and I will be returning to them again. Well done and thank you Kyle.
I rely on a car for my job so when the one I had died suddenly I was in a tight spot. Steve Puttick was excellent in helping me get the car I wanted quickly. When there was a delay they even sorted out a courtesy car for me. The only minor point was the valet job wasn't up to standard and I didn't want to wait around while they tried again but I have been offered a free valet job when I need my first service which given how much I drive won't be long. I thoroughly recommend the team here.
