Shockingly bad service. Having attempted to contact them 3 times regarding the 2 safety critical recalls on my vehicle and being told they would contact me regarding a courtesy car, as I need a vehicle and can't just leave it for 5 hours. They have told me today after me calling them again, that they won't offer me a courtesy car and won't provide any other options in terms of transport from and too their garage.
I just went to Barons to book my car in for new brakes, and the customer service was great. Lovely young lady dealt with me and was very professional but with a great sense of humour. Looking forward to getting the car repaired.
Usually have a pretty good service from Barons Ash Vale, but this time ordered a part on Monday and was told Id receive a call the next day - didnt get anything so ended up calling myself to check. Last time my car went in for a MOT they gave it back to me with a low battery - its going in for an MOT on Monday so fingers crossed it comes back all ok! Generally the service is good though and they work hard to resolve issues. Better than some garages Ive dealt with
Sent online request for service. Had nice email back to say enquiry received and someone would be in touch as soon as possible. No-one contacted me. Phoned to book service, no one aware of my service enquiry online - nearly 5 week wait but booked it anyway. Was told to expect text/email confirmation straight away - this didnt happen either. Didnt fill me with confidence so booked with Barons Hindhead in 2 weeks time and cancelled Ash Vale. Not impressed at all!
Be careful! If you have a warranty issue make sure that they write everything down. In my experience they basically called me a liar as they had no recollection of my enquires. As the car was on the cusp of going out of warranty I was keen to get the work done. They did eventually do the repair as in their words "BMW will warrant the part" even though the case was now 2-3 weeks out of warranty, 2 months after the original enquiry. I now go to Marshalls in Hook.
